Close to buying, but would like some input: AD360II or CL-600 (before the CL-600X releases)

I'm really having a tough time biting the bullet on my purchase!! I don't know if I should go with the CL-600 or the AD360II to get me by until I can find the AD600 or Cheetah stand releases the CL-600X at the end of March.

Cheetah Stand:
1x CL-600 kit = $578.88
1x RS-90 = $179.95
Amazon:
1x X1C XMT/RCV kit = $85.99

Total: $844.86

OR
Amazon:
AD360II/X1C combo = $545
Y-cable = $11.78
S-mount = 19.80
Battery Clip = $9.89
Bulb protector = $6.29

Cheetah Stand

Total: $772.71

Obviously, the 360 is going to be cheaper, but do you all think 2x 600's might be overkill and a 600/360 combo might be a good mix for portability and selection for general on-location shooting? I realize that it's only $72 and I might as well spend it, but it's more about versatility for me. I'm leaning to having one of each, but would like some input from you all.

I'd hold off on the CL-600 altogether while waiting to see what the Cheetah 600X is actually going to be. It'll likely be here in only a couple months. In the meantime, pick up one or two CL-360 units. Can't go wrong with them. Lots of flexibility and power in a small package. You can expand later once the options become clearer.

Depends on what you're trying to kill? The AD600 does 1/256 power which is the equivalent of 1/128 power of the AD360II. Definitely the AD600 will be more versatile and with a self contained battery will be less cumbersome than the AD360II albeit a little bit larger. The AD600 also has the modifier mount built into the flash rather than needing a separate Pro S bracket to hold both the modifier and the AD360II. The TTL AD600 is 1 stop more flash output than the AD360II as well but it is also $250 more expensive. With two AD600's, you can utilize the 2-into-1 1200ws single remote flash head when it becomes available, just in case you want to kill something really big.

And ... including the bracket ... half the weight of AD600 ... in case you want to hand hold it on a pole ... or the wind is blowing ...
