... Duck in the world! (And it's a dude!)

I went to a creek that I usually go to to see what I could find, I went for Hooded Mergansers, Buffle-heads, and Kingfishers really, but instead, I shot this most of the time. I know this duck has to be missing from some collection. Still though, one never expects to see something as beautiful as this when you go out shooting. (An odd thing with this duck, it's paired up with a Canada Goose of all things, the Mandarin Duck runs anything away from his honey)

Thanks, Peter! I know that a lot of these ducks are escapees from private collections, so this one probably is too. :)

I bet there are many that aren't seen, I mean, this one's hanging out with Canada Geese, not other ducks, so he's literally out of his norm... heheh
I know that there was another one at a popular lake here in the area back in the Spring, I am pretty sure this is not that one, but it belongs to somebody somewhere. :)
Thanks a lot, Denis!

No, I didn't, but I can tell you I did have fun and a lot of frustration trying to shoot it, I had all kinds of problems, then it got better. :)
Thank you! :)
