I've noticed on my safari trips that no one seems to shoot the sacred ibis. Is it because it's too common there? Is it because it's ugly? Is it because it's hard to expose black head and white feathers? I don't know, but I photographed this one and feel it was worth a digital file click.

That is SHARP, you did your part for sure, and I love that light.

I have not seen one of those around here, but I do shoot the Wood Stork from time to time, they are just as ugly, but are elegant flyers, and I love shooting them. Your shot is beautiful in my eyes, "ugly" did not come to mind at all, no matter how ugly the bird may have been.
Very nice job on this.

You know, I have tried and tried to find a spot anywhere that I can lay down close to water level, but all lakes, ponds, creeks, and streams all have high banks, so so far I have been unlucky in that respect.
