Not to clear on the source, but it's a fun read for us Birders.

I was thinking that if it was in my neck of the woods I'd want to just walk on in and see what they do?

God Almighty! That is one crazy site! heheheh
It's an interesting read, for sure, it's very long, and talk about getting off topic! :) Way on down it does get slightly back on track, but I am unsure who the real whackos are now, the commenters or the "terrorists', or all of the above! heheh

Thanks, that was fun stuff!

.....

I think it's hilarious and a great idea to just laugh at the occupiers. Make them laughing stock - camouflaged comedians - rather than elevating them to the level of terrorists or "patriots", and that's one thing they can't fight with guns.

I've been to that refuge - first place I saw white pelicans. It's a remote, sparsely populated and must be very bleak in winter. Only a few easily monitored minor roads run to and through it, easily controlled so that the occupiers could be cut off from the supplies and media attention they crave. The sooner they take their guns, go home and leave it to the birds the better.

This is a typical road there, stretching to the horizon with not a soul or a house or a tree in sight. Not a place to run out of gas - or hold a protest.

I think the Bundys have withdrawal symptoms if they are not in jail. Crazy!
