IMO railway tracks are better viewed disappearing into the distance, and I guess you are deliberately avoiding that, but I would still prefer some distance to the tracks. Why 1/2000 - it seems pretty stationary to me! With pic 2, I'd like to see this from the other end, ie looking down the tracks to the sleepers across the rails.

Bignerd Pardon my warped humor More info | Jan 11, 2016 14:22 | #8 I like the B&W better than the color. In the first image, I do not like the front focus being that far into the image. I think it distracts from the image. I would stop down to get the depth of focus range to include as much of the front portion as possible. Same issue with the third image.
