Some bird portraits from recent activity

Haven't been out too much lately because of back problems. Just started working on the shots I took this summer and fall. Finally got some reasonable shots of a Stellar's Jay in California, and some pictures of our flock of BCNHs (Who returned, as always, to Turner Road around Thanksgiving.)
