Just curious, is anyone here using an iPad Pro for your photography? How are you using it and what are your thoughts?

I recently made an impulse purchase of a 8" Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 because the screen is so awesome. Literally...I played with one at Best Buy and was blown away with the display and figured, what the hell, I'll play with it for a few days and just return it if I don't like it. Well, I'm finding I like the smaller 8" size (and 4:3 aspect ratio) a lot for tablety stuff like reading, checking email, watching movies etc because the Tab is so light and easy to hold.

In the week that I've had the Tab, I haven't used my iPad Air very much, except for photography stuff like doing some culling in Lightroom Mobile, going through Pinterest for ideas, etc. I also have a Fuji X-T1 in addition to my 5D3 and I'm finding myself increasingly using the Fuji iOS app to wireless transfer images to my iPad Air and then bring them into Lightroom Mobile for some basic editing and then syncing them back to my main Lightroom catalog on my Mac. For the general purpose / family stuff I use the X-T1 one for, this workflow is working very well. In fact it was awesome when I was with family over Christmas to be able to shoot, edit on the iPad, and share the results with family all while sitting around the living room and not having to crack open a laptop.

So my point is...the iPad Pro is way too big for me for everyday tablet use. But now that the Galaxy Tab is growing on me, the Tab + iPad Pro seems like a nice combo. The Tab for my day to day tablet and the iPad Pro for Lightroom Mobile and photo stuff. Is anyone else doing anything similar?

And before anyone mentions Surface Pro....I've had every Surface Pro and currently have, and love, the SP4. It's my primary work machine and I have the Surface Dock connected to 2 27" displays on my desk at work. It's great. But the inability to easily share images in Lightroom between my editing machine (MBP) and the SP4 just kills it as a photography device. I've tried all the LR catalog sharing workarounds and nothing comes close to the simplicity of Lightroom / Lightroom Mobile. So...the SP4, or any other Windows tablet, is not a viable solution here.
