Shingleback Skink

Wifes dog was barking for no reason so we thought.
Out I go and I find our 1st one for 2016. I tried to get the classic mouth open shot but I think it knew I meant it no harm and never opened it mouth again once I picked it up.
So the 1st is me holding it in one hand and big camera in the other hand.
The next shots were when I put it back down and got these. The last shot in the full sized shot you can clearly see me taking the photo in its eye.
I think this one is somewhere between baby and Adult. It was is real good health as it had a big girth.
Once the shots were taken it was back out bush where it should be much safer.
