I have 2 Yongnuo 600rt flshes and one wireless transmitter. They work fine for the first shot but subsequent exposures the flashes seem to fire but I get a very dark image. Any thoughts? I wait until the transmitter beeps (letting me know the two flashes have recycled) before I shoot again. I have some rechargeable batteries but put brand new Duracell Quantum batteries in all 3 devices. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't have much experience with wireless transmitters, but have you verified on the flashes themselves that they are fully recharged?

Is it possible that there's a setting somewhere on the flashes or camera that's trying to do some flash bracketing?

Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.

I inserted fresh batteries. The flash ready lights come on before I make another exposure, but no flash.

Could you have the camera's Flash Exposure Bracketing turned on, with the C.Fn controlling FEB set to doing all three exposures before releasing the set? This could produce a low-light shot and then wait for the other two to be taken.

There seems to be some software and firmware updates for this transmitter, if you haven't done so already. Don't know what specific issues they address.

Is the flash anywhere near being out of range from the transmitter? These don't have to be in "line of sight", do they? Have you tried different channel settings or groupings?
