I have some Yongnuo Canon Speedlights as well as some Alien Bees and Rovelight 600 that I hypersync with as well. I use Yongnuo triggers to remotely control all of them on my 6D. Do I need to buy Phottix Odin Sony transmitters to remotely control things now? if so, I imagine they won't remotely control my Yongnuo Speed lights since they are Canon shoes and not Sony. Wouldn't the hotshot on the sony transmitter be different and not allow it to trigger? I'm trying to figure out how I would manage this. I use OCF quite a bit and need to figure out some solution. Anyone here have any advice of what I need to buy?

I dont have all the answers to your questions but what I can tell you is yongnuo 602c triggers work on the sony and can trigger your canon or yongnuo flashes (on a second trigger).

The hotshoe on the sony is different as its a multi controller but it still fires the yongnuo trigger through the pins. I use a 602c on my a7rii and trigger my yongnuo 560iii (which has a receiver built in)

Thanks, a few days ago I put my Yongnuo 622's on the Sony and on my Yongnuo speedlights and they worked great. I was worried I would have an issue because my A6000 always gave me troubles with these same triggers. Apparently it's something to do with the A6000 hotshot where you have to place them just right, but that's not the case with the A7 series....you just put them on and they work. I guess I now need to get either the Sony Phottix Odin or Sony Pixel Kings triggers to use hypersync with my Rovelight 600 though. I used my Yongnuo 622's for that with my 6D but they won't work for hypersync with the Sony camera...I need Sony triggers to get the hypersync working. Kind of such but I really don't want to lose that function since I use it quite a bit outside.

If you want to try for Fp sync then one good option is the Pixel King for Sony.
It requires the adapter to go from the old Minolta style hotshoe to the new Sony version but once that's done it provides the FP sync signaling required.

I've used it with Rove Light as well as CL 600 and CL360 in H mode. All work as expected in FP sync mode.
