I took this shot of a cannon near Richmond and processed it to look 'old'

Love to get feedback as to the composition and processing

Nice conversion! Might have a little too much space up top and perhaps increasing the toning some would play up the old look.

I dig the capture.

It's a compelling transition. However, if you're going for a real Civil War era photograph, the image has far too much detail from the digital age. Try putting a massive blur on it. Then it will look authentic.
