Luminance, Red, Orange and Yellow and maybe a little Purple and Magenta works wonders for me on skin tones.
Snow white skin with a truckers tan (face neck and arms tanned) the white skin showed, like, goose bumps but I couldn't seem to make them stand out, until, I started playing around with the Red, Orange and Yellow luminance sliders and I noticed that the goose bumps were washed with Yellow luminance slider so I moved it and started noticing that it was bring them back. My hands for example, being older the skin tears easily, so I use the Red and Orange to get sores looking like the actually look on my hands. I guess taking pictures of myself gives me something to go by.

As most of you know I have never been happy with my pictures, but figuring this Luminance out has helped me to like my pictures better.
