You guys and gals rock! In a wide variety of settings you get results ranging from good to exceedingly excellent. You manage chaos. When things go wrong you compensate. Your work evokes lasting memories. Unless you are earning the top one percent of your profession you are seriously under compensated.

I just spent about fifteen hours doing my best to rescue wedding shots done by a well meaning novice shooter hired by a couple that should have known better. The shooter was not at all an uncaring jerk. I think anyone would count him as one of the good guys of the world. He tried hard, shot loads, often had focus or exposure or WB or angle almost right, apologized to the couple. offered a fee refund and willingly provided RAWS for the rescue. Rescue results are okay, but not anywhere near what you real pros would have done.

If there were a Wedding Shooter Hall of Fame, I think all of you who produce consistently good results would belong there.
