Best wide prime under $300

Hey guys and girls, I do a bit of sports and event photography and i'm thinking of ditching my 24-105 and replacing it with a wide prime for crowd shots etc, I don't want to go fish eye wide but somewhere in the 20-35mm range to be used on a 6d, I also have a 50f1.4 and a 7d with 70-200.

Any ideas?

EF 28mm f/1.8 USM will be your best bang for the buck. No corner resolution wide open, but it is extremely good (still poor corners, though) from f/2.8 through f/8.
