I had a lot more guys than girls this year (for Seniors) so great practice for me. I definitely find guys to be a bit more challenging when it comes to posing and just loving to be before the camera. I got very lucky with this guy, however. He was very at east and I think it shows. Just love his attitude and confidence. This session was taken in Plainfield, NH. Feel free to ask me anything. Here is Nate, Class of '16 (You can see his full album on my Flickr page):

We were happy to get iconic Mt. Asctuney (in Vermont) in the shot.

Great shots! You're right, he doesn't seem camera shy at all.

The front of the brown pants are noticeably wrinkly, the only distraction of a very nice shoot!

not sure i like #4, the background color and foreground flowers seems a bit feminine.

the others are fantastic, especially #2

Yes, sigh. I am trying harder to influence wardrobe as I've seen some real problems this year. I tell them, in some detail, to be very selective and have tips on my website, but it's not always taken to heart. It's tough because once they show up, it's too late.

Thanks -- I really strive for "clean" processing. :)

I know what you mean. I was a little concerned about the flowers, but his DAD really wanted that shot (he just happened to be sitting there.) Gotta give the people what they want and Mom says it's her favorite. Thankfully, they have the other choices, though.

I really like #2

#4 at first it looked like the bushes in the front and the back were photoshopped, but it seems it was just a perfectly positioned photo

great work!

I really like the set, you've done very well as always.

I do agree with the views that some of the images are a bit feminine, but that's my own personal taste. I also am not a huge fan of any of the wardrobe choices, but that's beyond your control too. My only other niggle is #8 where the shot is perfectly framed with the pillars and doors, but he's not quite centred to them...but that could be my OCD!

Great series though, I'm sure his family would be so happy with them!

Yes, there is a lot of PS for things like that out there, but those bushes were real and right there. He just happened to be sitting there and his father liked it, so we got a few nice shots. :)

Wardrobe is tough -- I coach them as much as possible, but people have their own tastes and ideas. :)
