It's a fantastic opportunity to shoot there. We went over Labor Day, which was late this year. As you can see, the Fall colors had already arrived. We loved it. Thanks for the comments

Great shots, I like first one best. Were you on your own, or on a tour. We are going at the end of July for a tour, then finish with the cruise back.

Thanks, shadows make ① look almost 3D. Was Aug/Sept 2016, we were on a tour. Did Victoria, Vancouver, bus/Rocky Mountaineer clockwise loop. Then cruise north & bus through Alaska. Our experienced tour director said he rarely saw both sides of Denali that clear, was enjoyable 4 weeks. I see you have a family connection with WA (Aust). My work took us there for a few years in early 90's. We both come from big countries, you would now appreciate the size of our place. Am sure you'll enjoy the holiday time in your north, I expect to see your pics after your return.
