Winter is when I mess around with indoor subjects, and try to sharpen my post processing skills. (Or lack there of) lol.
Let's see what images you mashed together when your indoor creative juices got flowing.
This winter is where my inner nerd got a good feeding of Star Wars goodness. This pic was inspired by a brief scene in the new film. Only I didn't have any TIE fighters handy.

Not a composite, but Nikon has a little known setting..what you feel, not what you see..

Apparently I was feeling this..:-)

Assuming this thread is all about photo manipulation. Not just composites?

I worked on an action that will put a sketch-like quality to my images, so that I don't have to do this manually each time. It needs a bit of work still.

This is kind of a composite. The puppet really is in front of the New Mexico sign. I added, obviously, the flares, colors, and clouds.

This was a puppet owned by a teacher I used to work with. I "stole" it from her desk before making a cross-country trip many years ago. It's been done a million times but I enjoyed taking him and posing him in various situations.

He made it back home safe and sound.

Obviously it's a Roswell, New Mexico/alien theme.

Always fun to make these. They're surprisingly easy.

Sorry, not trying to be a thread hog.

This is fair use because it's parody.

I live by where they film The Walking Dead, so occasionally I'll go take photos of the locations where they filmed recent episodes.

This photo was taken by Gene Page, the chief Unit Stills Photographer for the show. These photos are released as promos and wallpaper through the show's website on AMC.

I went to the location, framed the photo the exact same as the original, set my camera on a timer and took a few.

I was careful to try to match the bokeh and the colors. Then I simply laid the photo of myself on top of theirs and erased most of mine.

If you try to pick the same season, time of day, etc. you can get pretty close. It's much better than trying it with green screen or cut and paste because of the shadows and such.

I should have gone on an overcast day (which is what it looks like the actors had, unless their grips and such did that smooth lighting).

More fun with gals and cars... the first is 1 main bg droppedin, the second is a 3 picture composite for the bg with the gal and car dropped in.

I see a issue with the first image now, but not sure how I can fix it... ;-)a

Thanks. That's two shots I took during the lunar eclipse last fall. One was the full moon and clouds, the other was the main admin building on campus. The lighting just happened to work out perfectly to meld them together.

It is, sort of. This is the building. It's called Old Main. I took this one a few years ago around Christmas.
