Well, first post, I've been looking over the forums for a while now. I had a Rebel Xt with a grip, 15mm fisheye, kit lens, an ex 420 & 550, and a sigma 70-300. About a week ago i left my stuff in my car overnight, I know stupid move, and someone decided they needed it and broke my window and took it. (yes i did a police report, don't have renters insurance and my car insurance doesn't cover it)

Now moving on, I shoot mostly freestyle bmx and some lifestyle/landscape on the side. Wonder what your opinion would be for a body to start over with.
I'm torn between a 1d mark2, 5d, or a 20d.
A Full frame would be awesome, but the fps helps from time to time.
I can get a 20d thats a few months old for $900 with a kit lens, should i jump on it or wait and get a 1d mark2 or a 5d?
Fast focusing is a big plus too.

Thanks for taking the time and helping me decide.

I don't know, but if you shoot BMX with your 15mm fisheye, and stopped down a little, focusing speed is not relevant. Since the DOF is so huge.
But a 30D seem nice

20/30D or the lower end pro body would be very nice. just make sure you get some fast usm glass too.

depends, how much are you willing to spend?
I'd consider getting an XT or a 30D and spend the rest on glass.
If funds are sufficient, the an N with 8mm fish, 15mm fish, 16-35L, 24-70L, 70-200 f2.8IS L, 100-400L, and 100mm macro.
