On New Year's Eve, one of my neighbors called me up and asked me to come over and take some pics of deer that were coming over by their barn. It's always fun to take pics of deer, so I went over to take pics. Saw this old doe hot on the trail of another doe. When she put her ears back, I knew something was going to happen. Always wondered what the beef was about. She wound up getting her butt kicked. Women, go figure.;-)a

Very nice set Terry! Did you get any shots where they actually connected with each other?

Thanks Sandy. No I wasn't able to get any frames between these. Guess I needed one of those new super fps cameras to achieve that. Sure would have liked to have gotten some in between frames though.:-)

Very nice shots Terry, good documenting behavior. I've heard those hooves connect with skull as far as fifty yards before, more power than one might think.

Thanks Steve. I imagine those hooves could account for a lot of the scars you see on deer.:-)
