Hey you, I'm callin you out

On New Year's Eve, one of my neighbors called me up and asked me to come over and take some pics of deer that were coming over by their barn. It's always fun to take pics of deer, so I went over to take pics. Saw this old doe hot on the trail of another doe. When she put her ears back, I knew something was going to happen. Always wondered what the beef was about. She wound up getting her butt kicked. Women, go figure.

Funny! The 4th one looks like shes winking at you saying "I got this!" the 5th one "well maybe not!"

Thanks Sandy. No I wasn't able to get any frames between these. Guess I needed one of those new super fps cameras to achieve that. Sure would have liked to have gotten some in between frames though.

Thanks Budcam. I did see a couple of cow elk behaving similar last week, but wasn't fast enough to get any frames of it.

Very nice shots Terry, good documenting behavior. I've heard those hooves connect with skull as far as fifty yards before, more power than one might think.

Thanks Steve. I imagine those hooves could account for a lot of the scars you see on deer.
