Do you guys have any ingenious methods you use to attach your AD360 batteries to your light stand? For transport reasons (I pack everything in a pelican case) I'd like to avoid the shoulder strap if possible. I'm open to any suggestions. I've been using a Velcro strap thus far that goes around the light stand and thru the belt clip, but I would prefer something that clamps to my light stand. I'm planning on ordering an avenger A2030D in the near future and I'd order what I needed then.

I think the 1st and 2nd one listed are the same...but that's the one I use. It works great!

I use both 1st and 3rd but find the cheaper 3rd version somehow seems more secure (probably psychological, can't see why one should be better than the other solely because it's more expensive). Nice thing about the cheaper version is that you can also use to attach smaller battery pack like the Pixel TD38x with the long screw Pixel include.

There's another alternative too Custom Brackets BH-1 (external link) if you want purely hook-over style. Incidentally, the Quantum version (link 1 in agv8or's post) currently retails in UK for £32.99 - or about US$50!!!!

Phil ǁ Kershaw Soho Reflex: 4¼" Ross Xpres, 6½" Aldis, Super XX/ABC Pyro in 24 DDS, HP3/Meritol Metol in RFH, Johnson 'Scales' brand flash powder. Kodak Duo Six-20/Verichrome Pan. Other odd bits over the decades, simply to get the job done - not merely to polish and brag about cos I'm too mean to buy the polish!

If you glue some velcro on the battery and then have the other side loop around the stand ... would it work? :)

I studio I use the Cheetahstand battery hook. On location I use a leather strap.

I found #3 above to be bulky with edges that scratch other gear. Ended up getting several of #1. Many other uses with a spigot or mini ball head attached, too.
