Nice, I really like the way it's lit.

It's become one of my favorites too, and the price doesn't hurt either.

Nice shot Gumby!

I haven't had Monkey SHoulder before. ANy tasting notes to share? :-D

Ordered a 12x36" strip box and that should finally give the narrower light profile I'm after for the bottle shots.

I have a couple of 8" x 36" strip boxes I use for product shots too.

Excited for the new soft box. Was a struggle for me to feather the 30x40" and get a nice fade.

Placed this in the wrong thread...belongs here. A natural light window shot.

Taste wise it’s got a nice mild spice to it not in your face but extremely smooth and pleasant to sip on.

Yes stripboxes are key for lighting bottles you’ll be extremely happy once you get yours.

One of my favorite tutorials for shooting bottles is from Karl Taylor. He uses reflectors behind the bottle and glass and places diffusing panels between the strobes and bottle.

Somebody was ringing the doorbell this morning. The stripbox was supposed to arrive tomorrow but it arrived a day early. Fine by me. Like a kid at Christmas...went into it and popped off a few to test. I couldn't feather the 30x40" sufficiently to get these results which were so much easier to place with this 12x36". A grid was also included so will test that one later. So far, I like!

The funny part of Karl's video is that he has ice cubes in his SMS. The purists would not like that. ;)

Thanks! Will have to try some.

A quick set this time with the grid attached. I like this more but I need to use a different diffuser, the one used in about 1.5 stops so I get a hard edge. The .5 stop is to thin so the fade isn't as gradual. The 1 stop is set-up on another set. :/
