Frozen soap bubbles

Had a go at shooting some frozen soap bubbles. Probably not really cold enough (about -0.3'C). Some bubbles did freeze before bursting but seem to fracture and then collapse. All shots natural light and focus stacked using zerene.

"Cool" idea! I've never seen that done before.

Beautiful idea! I would love to shoot frozen soap bubbles but the temperatures here rarely go below freezing. I have tried to freeze them in my freezer with -19C but they never survived. Do you add anything to the soap mixture? Has anyone tried freezing bubbles in a freezer?

I like the animation. Way to make the best of the cold weather!

Not my idea Bas - I've seen this done quite a few times but generally in much colder temperatures.
