I need some suggestions on what kind of cable I need to tether my 5DMIII to my nec pa271w monitor, if this is possible. Does anyone have any experience with this monitor & know if it's possible to tether?

Thanks.

Tether in what way...I use an NEC that I tether via my desktop using the cord supplied with my Canon camera and the Canon Utility Software.

I was wanting to try doing some self portraits so if I could tether my camera to my NEC screen while setting up, I could get a better view for angles, lighting, etc. which would help speed up the process. Otherwise, it's going to take longer going back & forth to the camera screen.

Maybe this (external link)? IIRC the 5D3 takes a mini-HDMI port and I see the NEC has a DVI-D port, so that might do the job.
