In November, I went to meet up with the rest of my family to celebrate my father's 75th birthday. (His neighbors couldn't figure out why it was that big a deal... celebrate when you reach 90!)

My sister and her wife brought their twin boys, who of course got almost all the attention. Since I almost never take photos of people, I'd love to get advice on how to improve these. I'm pretty pleased with them, but I'm well aware of how little I know in this realm...

Again, advice would be welcome! Composition, focus, whatever.

Thanks!

I like the poses of the kids, very good job there. However you need to watch the lighting. Direct sunlight and shadows don't mix well for people shots. Very cute kids though.

Thanks! Lighting was definitely a challenge, since everything was outside.
