I am trying to figure out what the differences are between the Photoshop CC Single App annual membership (paid monthly) and the Creative Cloud Photography Plan annual membership (paid monthly). The Photography Plan is half the price ($10 vs $20 per month), but it seems you get more functionality in the Photography Plan, which is making think there has to be something I'm missing.

The Creative Cloud Photography Plan includes:
• Photoshop Lightroom CC Desktop App
• Photoshop CC Desktop App
• Photoshop Fix Mobile App
• Lightroom for Mobile
• Photoshop Mix Mobile App
• Voice Mobile App
• Slate Mobile App
• Premiere Clip Mobile App
• Adobe Portfolio

Whereas Adobe Photoshop CC Single App includes:
• Photoshop CC Desktop App
• ProSite portfolio website (don't know how this differs from Adobe Portfolio)
• Typekit desktop and web fonts (I think this includes a few more fonts than the photography plan, and may be part of the price difference)
• 20 GB of cloud storage (perhaps this is the reason for the price difference, does the photography plan only include 2 GB?)
• Creative Cloud Market (probably another reason for the price difference, this appears to be a lot of templates, graphics and additional tools for creative rather than photographic work)

It seems to me that if I don't need the fonts, templates & tools, which I don't, and 2 gigs is enough cloud storage space for me, which it is, the Photography Plan is a no-brainer. I get twice the applications for half the price of just one.

Am I missing something? What do most people here subscribe to? (poll added to this thread)

I've been using Adobe Master Collection CS3 since 2008 or whenever it came out. I mostly use PS and Acrobat, I did use the Flash Video Encoder a bunch for one project, but not since. And I use Bridge a little bit. I'm trying to force myself to use it more but having worked in technology, and at Microsoft in the Windows Division, I have created my own methods for managing files that works for everything from documents, to photographs, to music, to videos. But it appears that Bridge is free to anyone who creates an Adobe account now. I can probably continue with my version of Acrobat just fine for creating and editing PDFs.

I was planning on purchasing Lightroom 6 standalone from Adorama with the "rewards" I am going to get after buying my new body & lenses. But it seems that subscribing to the Photography Plan is a better idea for me. I will get a lot of the features in PS that have been introduced since CS3, some of which I know I want to use, and also get LR. And it will take more than a year to cost the same as buying the standalone LR. If I ever find the need for the other products, I still have CS3 Master Collection and can probably get by with the older versions. So there is no need for me to spend $50/month for the entire CC suite.

Thanks in advance for any replies, comments and advice.

Cheers,
heldGaze

PS - I have added a poll for folks who want to say which product they have, but don't feel like writing a post.
