Last Saturday, we decided to go out shooting. Unfortunately, the sun did not cooperate at all! Managed to get a few shots in the cold.

2 - Canada goose in flight

alas, a problem i have as well! this time of year, if i can get out once every 7-10 days, i'm fortunate; our weather this time of year is relentlessly gray, gloomy and wet, and the breaks we do get are seldom really sunny - just thinning of the clouds enough to let a bit of sun peek through. i try to take advantage of whatever breaks i get, though... ;)

very nice job, especially on the duck. it always amazes me that they don't get frostbite or something!

So we go south for the winter. Today, 40s, wind out of North at 30+ mph and spittin' rain! Bottom line, it happens to us all. You handled it well, Ish.

Lol; thanks, Rog. Have been South two winters in succession but the way the Canadian $ is these days, we decided to stay put!
