Back when Pope John Paul II passed, I went to his memorial service at the Cathedral in Los Angeles. I woke up early and made the drive from San Diego before the sun rose to get some photos around the grounds. These were taken with my P&S Canon SD300 back in 2005, when I was first really getting into photography. Very little post processing has been done on any of these images except for the one of the angels beckoning the sun to rise. That image received some color tweaks to enhance the sky, and I cloned out the street lamps in the background. Otherwise these are mostly just SOOC JPEGS that have been resized with output sharpening to fit this forum's guidelines. Enjoy!
These images could probably actually use some post. When I get some time I hope to sit down and do a little work. But honestly, I'm quite pleased with what I got in camera.
As always C&C is appreciated.
