I was shown this roosting spot today. I have always wanted to see owls in the wild where I could photograph them. There were 5 in this tree. I would never have seen them if I weren't shown where they were.

Thank goodness it's in a white pine... I will see if I can go again when they aren't backlit... That means early morning...
