Yes but it wont drive the lens like the 1dx mkII and will also be slower with a tc I have this problem with my 5dsr .

Smaller pixels, same sensor tech... (onboard ADC, or whatever they changed, that Canon remains tightlipped about).

I preordered late for the 1Dx and got it about 3-4 weeks after it started shipping. I'd guess (and it's only a guess) that a summer delivery is still very possible.

Your best bet is to call around to some of the smaller shops. You stand a much better chance of finding a slot near the top of their list and the price will be the same. (Assuming you order across state lines for initial tax purposes.)

Seriously, I would pick up the phone and start making calls. You might be surprised!

I believe in speaking something so that it will become real!

I bought into the hype as soon as I figured either a Sony sensor, or some serious Sony involvement....whether Canon fanboys
want to admit that or not matters not to me. I know Canon won't admit it and that matters to me just as much.
I don't know if I ordered early or late, the order was placed 2/24, so early or late?

Pre-ordered mine on 2/4. If it turns out to be all that and a can of beans, I will grab a second one.

One of the excellent smaller retailers with an online presence is Allen's Camera in PA. They have been excellent to me... they had a 100-400ii when the majors were sold out.

Battery question, the new battery for the 1DXii and/or previous 1D series batteries.
How long do you think the batteries will stay charged with no intervention.
The boss is scheming a trip for next year and for weeks there will be no access to anything resembling
a plug in.....got plenty of time for self discovery of the above question but curious from current 1DX owners.
So basically can you full up the charge on the battery and still have use 3-5 weeks later?

Will you have access to a vehicle?
