Canon 760D - Using HDMI Cable

I recently bought a Canon 760D, but seem unable to get it to send any images or movies to my TV screen through use of the HDMI port. I can't see any other setting that I may have missed to enable it to send through the cable.

According to their website there is no new firmware for this camera, so there was no solution there...

Any one have any ideas?

Have you enabled Liveview?
