Nice composition and well seen. Could be a better final image if the editing halos weren't as visible around the edges of the leaves and hill outlines.

I don't see them. Are you sure the lighter areas aren't effects of the contours of the land under irregular clouds?

Negative. There are definite Halo's in/around the brush. Calibrated Monitor here.

I very much appreciate the insightful comments.
Regarding the light/halo in question . . . post processing isn't my strong point.
Do any of you have suggestions for correcting that?

What software do you have? On1Photo does a real good job, and is relatively easy to do.

Thanks for the input Ron.
I am currently using Photoshop Elements.
I'll check out your lead.
Thanks again!

What make me wonder about the bushes is some of the branches don't have the brightness around them. Halos are usually around everything contrasty. Would need to see the original file I guess.

Right. Some of those light areas correspond to shafts of sunlight visible at the top.

I don't see the narrow white lines that result from oversharpening, although someone with a better monitor might.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your kind critiques and comments. To say that I delve into them is an understatement :-)
