Definitely better. You corrected the issue I had with it - the heavy white cloud blocked & took center stage to everything else, just too much blocking clouds. Looks great now.

NY More info | I think I'd try for another edit somewhere in between, I like the sky in the first one and think maybe you've gone a bit too far in brightening the foreground in the second version. Or possibly just cutting back exposure from the second version.

In the first version the foreground trees and mountains are spot on (color wise and contrast) and the second edit has the benefit of the fog and sky (may need to dial back the saturation in the sky a tad). Combining those two elements would make the picture that much better. flickr
