Looks like he is rocking a 7D2/100-400L combo. Not bad! With his bank balance, I would have gone for a 400/2.8 or something though! :)

at least one picture he's using a 600mm according to the exif...maybe they let him borrow something for a shot?

Maybe one of the pros sitting next to him on the sidelines allowed him to borrow one of their lenses. BTW, it's nice being Durant, I guess. Just call the stadium folks and say hey, I'm Kevin Durant, mind if I hang out on the sidelines and take a few photos? :)

Pretty cool I think!
I'm sure it was a great learning experience and looks like he had fun with it.
I can't comment on quality of SuperBowl pics, I'd probably be in sensory overload at the 'Bowl too. :-)
