First set of shot from today folks getting used to it so please be gentle, i tried a indoor shot of the generic wall clock, and a wind chime on our wall outside and then something about 2 miles away and cropped abit to see how it would manage.

And a Power line 2 miles away lighting was poor though.

These two i shot about an hour ago both in RAW, i used the in camera Raw processing to see how they would look, all i have done outside of the camera is to resize for here.

Both were hand held at silly shutter speeds - pat on the back to the anti shake mechanism me thinks:-)

Try dialing in some EC; you're severely underexposing all of these. Otherwise, results look ok; although, the long distance crop looks a bit fuzzy

Yep i am still getting to know the camera - its got more menues than mister chans the chinese;-)a, i had the metering set to spot(a throw back to the 7d to avoid burning out white details on planes) so i am yet to fully try the multi point exposure system.
The distant shots where in fairness to the cam - not the best of lighing and low contrast aginst a low conrast sky, but i am impressed - big time by the wind chime(as good as my 7d achieved) and the night shots in a room with just a bed lamp bulb - so very little light and the shots where at 150mm eqv and hand held 1/4sec - i am well impressed at that.

Oh not foregetting the long distance shot was at 630mm eqv and hand held at 1/160sec - that again is good in my book;-)a

So far (taking into account a bit of learning the exposure behaviour and AF ability) i am Very Impressed and Well chuffed:-):-)

Looking at the last two shots of the teddies, i have the real things infront of me know as they were shot, and it shows how good the FZ300 is - the real scene is so dark its hard to make out many details - but the camera did a great job.
