I am looking for a travel sized street photograph camera. Something that can take good portraits, anywhere adaptive camera, and fast locking system when it counts.

Considering neither of these cameras are actually out yet, any opinions you get will be based on speculation.

But speculation is so much fun!!!

Ok so everydaygetaway is right though. Very few people have had a chance to use either camera. So saying one is better then the other is just pure speculation at this point. No doubt both will be great cameras but which one will be "better" then the other is anyone's guess

For now I'd say don't look at the camera, look at the available glass. Which glass do you like more?

For portraits my vote goes to the A6300 since it has Eye AF in AF-C mode. And from what I've seen in the videos so far, I think the A6300 has a faster AF system (but I still need to see more for a final judgement on that).
