Canon Pro100

I traded in my Canon 7D for a 7D MkII in November, also got a Pro100 printer with the Canon deal to replace/supplement my Pro9000. The issue I'm having with the Pro100 is that it will not feed any canvas thru it - InkPress, Premier, etc. But my Pro9000 has no issue printing. Are any of you having issue with the new Pro series printers not accepting canvas paper.

Are you using the rear feed, or the top feed?

It doesn't do a flat feed like the 9500.

After loading into the rear feed, I think you have to tap the resume button on the front, the one flashing double yellow.

I run Red River Canvas and it works fine. Cool prints and everybody loves them.

i don't use canvas, but what he said is correct.

don't they call the top feed, Rear Tray in the printer settings? and the feed in the back is Manual Feed? confusing.

I have no issues using the "top" tray/auto feed on my Pro9000. Yes, the Pro100 back feed/manual feed is different. The print quality of the Pro100 is great BUT still not able to use it on canvas.

so it just won't grab it? does it try?

only time i've used the manual feed was with some heavy 13x19. If i recall correctly, it was definitely touchy to get it to feed. I want to say that I just waited until after it tried to grab it once, then inserted the paper and the second time it tried it actually grabbed it.

similar to (maybe exactly) what nathan said above about hitting the resume button. It's been a year since i fed in heavy stock.

It initially grabs the paper then it slips.
