Arrgghh! I'm so upset I don't know what to do. Hopefully someone here will have some suggestions for me.
I build my photobooks using London Drugs' "Home Edition" software. It is software that I have on my MacBook. I can build my books, play around with them, edit them . . . I can take days building them if I want. When I'm done, I upload the completed book to London Drugs' website, place my order, pay for it, and pick up the book a few blocks from my house in a couple of days.
I just opened the software to build a photobook, and I was greeted with a notice indicating that as of April 30, 2016, the software will no longer be supported at all, and I'll have to use their web interface. The web interface is full of cheesy templates, and I have to upload all of the photos BEFORE I build the book.
It looks like they've done away with their proof books too, which I used to order a lot of. Being able to give people hardcopy proof books with a fast turnaround was something I depended on being able to do.
Can anyone make any suggestions as to how I can make proof and photo books with software on my Mac that someone locally (Costco, Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, even Walmart) will be able to print? I do not want to have to upload all of the images to the web before I want to start building. I just want to upload the finished product.
I don't need high-end photobooks that I will be shipped to me. For 90% of my photo and proofbooks, I need fast, inexpensive, and local to Calgary.
Help!
