Thanks. Lightroom helped exaggerating the color difference. It was freezing at the end of autumn and foggy for a week straight. I was lucky enough to find some trees with some bright leaves still on them.

I heard an interview with a guy that was in there for a while and he said on certain nights he could hear the sounds of parties.....laughing, music...from the mainland.

That is amazing given the distance. I assume the wind direction helped a lot.

Sound seems to carry over water pretty well. Maybe because it's a fairly smooth, reflective surface.

I am curious about something. Bob, how did the guy in the interview know that the sounds he heard were from the mainland, and not from the peninsula that lies between his location and the mainland? I mean, to hear sounds at such a distance is one thing, but to be able to accurately discern exactly where the sounds are coming from seems virtually impossible.

I have no idea and that was probably my mistake in mentioning the mainland. He just said there were times he was able to these kinds of sounds. Where they actually came from I have no idea and he didn't specify. I think I heard this on the audio thingy that you use when you tour Alcatraz.

And you're exactly right. I've heard sounds across large bodies of water and they seem to emanate from anywhere and everywhere.

Hi All,

I’ve frequented a number of cemeteries over the years, some by choice and others by obligation.
For some reason this cemetery has always creeped me out. The cemetery was established in 1848, has all of 30 headstones and is found in King City Ontario.
