i know the 1d4 was the pro level top dog camera from Canon when it was released but it was before the 5d3...
ive got a 5d3 and its pretty good for what i need but i want to add another body. very easy to duplicate the 5d3 since everything will be exact between the two bodies...
im liking the 1d4 because its got just a little bump in reach to help with my 70-200 f2.8 (theoretical with crop factor, i dont need any dissertations on this) but how does it compare function and performance wise to the 5d3?
i cant swing the coin for a 1dx2, let alone a first gen 1dx so unfortunately thats out of the question...
i know those with the 1d4 love them. im certain i too would love it but i dont want a step down in techonlogy/capability and i dont want a lot of relearning or confusing controls...
should i get a 2nd 5d3, look for a cheap 1dx or wait for a 5d4 to be conjured up?
