I know the feeling of this loss too well.
What a beautiful companion.
I'm very sorry.

It's my life and I'll get pissed if I want to.

We lost our perfect boy Butch about a year ago. Still got a gigantic hole in my heart.

Mutts, every one of them. The one in the back was scheduled for termination when my son adopted him. he is such a sweet dog. The red one, she's a bit crazy, loved playing frizbee and the one with the red collar is the most playful dog I have ever had.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Sorry to hear about Butch. For over 27 years I’ve been a 911 Call Receiver/Dispatcher/Supervisor, spent nine years before that in the Marines. Toughest, hardest thing I’ve had to do in my life is say goodbye to my pups.

As I type this I have my 13 year old Aussie in my lap. She is in good health, still lots of energy, but average lifespan for the breed is 12-15 so the inevitable is unfortunately getting close. She is going to be the hardest of all to say goodbye to.

We lost our last rescue about 4 months ago which was extremely sad. He was very ill when we brought him back to the UK with us from Ukraine where we had been living for a few years.

It was inevitable that we would be filling the gap he left with another rescue so here's Bolt. He was found wandering in the forest in Romania as a puppy and brought over to Scotland to live with us. He's settled in after 2 months with us and is having a fantastic time now :)
