I received my order today. Ordered direct from the varavon.com web-site. $140 plus $30 shipping*. The price used to be near $250.

*I thought the shipping charge was a bit excessive, but turns out the unit ships from Korea. I ordered on Feb. 12th, received today (18th) - seems fair enough.

Photo links below.

Although not mentioned in any of the literature, the finder can be mounted on a gripped 7D. I was prepared to make modifications to the mount in order to have it work with the grip, but not necessary.

I haven't done any shooting with it yet, just getting everything mounted. The most likely use of this will be for shooting video from tripod and ground/low level, or still photography at ground/low level. The finder does have an Arca-Swiss mounting plate, so it can easily be used with my tripods, monopods, window/ground mount. The main portion of the finder can be easily removed, leaving only the bottom mounting plate. Since this will fit my tripods, etc., I will probably leave the mount on except when I know that I'll be shooting verticals using a tripod - then, I will switch to the Really Right Stuff 90-degree mount.

The loupe can be removed easily, a good idea if shooting low-level.

Unit comes with a nice carrying case and the necessary hex-tools for installation/adjustment.

I don't know why the images won't embed - but, the links above will take you to the images on my web-site.

The beginner clicks the shutter and says "Let's see what I got." ... The experienced photographer thinks "How can I capture what I see?"
