At least SA mount lenses won't be useless anymore

I would hope Sigma can push the bar further with AF speed for Canon or SA lenses. I guess we will see once it is finally announced. Has there ever been a better time to use Sony? :)

I'm honestly far more interested on when Samyang will start making FE specific lenses :)

I've been thinking about this, and there is an advantage to a lens maker making an adapter for their lenses, as they can do a bit more than a typical adapter that simply passes the AF signal through the pin connectors....A lens maker could potentially mimic a lens specific native signal via the adapter and make it think a native lens is attached, and as such, unlock things like eye-focus.

I was curious to why Sigma said in the Spanish release that was leaked (and since removed) that this adapter is for Sigma lenses only. I'm hoping that the reason this is the case is because of the native lens mimicry.
