It's rare that Eagles are found around here. Sometime over the past week, about 30-35 showed up at a local reservoir. This afternoon I was able to go find out. I did see about 7 different birds, one being an adolescent, however he stayed so far away couldn't get a shot of him.
Here's a few of the others. They were rather skittish, wouldn't let you very close, or if you stopped the car, they wouldn't stay perched long. The closest shot was about 60yds, which was the one standing in the water. The others were a lot farther.
I'm not real happy with these. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm going back in the morning to see if I can make some better images.
Well never mind, after uploading these and adding the metadata, I see that somehow I had my ISO set way to high. I know when I got out of the car, I had set it at 800 and f8, shutter speed either 640 or 1000
