Which one?

These are doc shots. It was a -7° fahrenheit on a windy morning. The locale is Port Jefferson harbor looking north. The water was steaming; I'd never seen it in this state before. They were taken from the stern of a ferry. I can't decide which should be the "official" shot. The one with the railing gives a bit more of a sense of place. But it's not as pure.

The second one has a stronger sense of subject matter. Although i did not realize that the steam was the subject until i read your post.

I like #2 as well. I was kind of stuck on #1 for a moment then I noticed the ice on the chain in #2 and was hooked on that one.
