Is this new BNSF paint? I haven't seen this graphic before, and these two engines appeared to be pretty new. There was not a spot on them and the orange paint blazed brightly in the morning sun!

(I wasn't expecting this to come rolling along, so I had about 30 seconds to find a place to park and compose this first shot. Otherwise those small white pillars wouldn't be cluttering up this view.)

Enjoy!

7. A sight you don't see every day! A barge came by shortly after the train and they swung the bridge open.

Very colorful!
Can you get the size down a bit more? I used a friends 56K connection the other day & just gave up out of frustration, so you may be missing some <bumps>. Page 2 is just a short way down the road... :D

Sure, I'll give it a go. :)

EDIT: Ok, file size chopped in half on all the photos. Sorry about that! :o

A nice set of images. That is a bright paint scheme.

I didn't like the telephone poles growing out of the train on the first shot, so here's a cleaned up version. I also lowered the white pipes in the foreground.

yea those are the new paint schemes for BNSF. I actually like it alot. At night they reflect any light aimed at them so you can see them. Its pretty kewll.

I really like that new graphic. I'd like to see how reflective it is in the dark, too. Gonna have to keep my eyes peeled at night, now.

Here are a couple older ones grinding hard up a grade today. They split their load in half at the bottom so they could make the climb. Lots of coal to be hauled around here, I guess.

Ugh...I hate electrical/phone wires hanging in front of the subject.
