Fokida Region, central Greece

From the first days of January. Fokida is one of the most rugged regions of Greece.

In the first one, the village that can be hardly seen far away on the slopes of the mountain is where the ancient site of Delphi (with the oracles, etc.) lies:

This is the highest peak (called "the Pyramid", with an altitude of about 2500 meters) of Gkiona mountain:
