I went up to the local eagles nest to see if they were back. The male brought in some grass and a stick. While positioning the stick the female looked irritated then let the male know.

Fantastic captures.
How did you locate the nest? Recently there have been several Eagles come into this area. They are seen around a local reservoir, and some other small communities around the reservoir. I've spent a lot of time driving around looking for a nest. However there's at least 40+miles that aren't accessible. The game biologists will not tell the location(s).

I kayak quite a bit and know of several in the area. This is one where there is a county road within 300 feet from the nest and the road is slightly above the nest. Makes it great for photography since you are not shooting up all the time. We also have Osprey nests at the local state park.
