So I looked through the "Show us your business card" thread. Lots of positive comments for Moo. Still shopping around to make sure I get the best value. Looking to get a nicer, heavy card, with a glossy front, possibly a metallic/foil for my logo, and color on the back for an image. I know it will be cheaper than Plain Jane economy cards, but would still prefer to get the best price for what I want. Suggestions?
Thanks :-D

Try a place called Vistaprint. They do cards, banners, calendars, booklets, all sorts of things.

http://www.vistaprint.com …ck.aspx?xnav=welcome&rd=1 (external link)

I've used them for a while now and ordered about 2,000 business cards a few years back. They were excellent and the price was good. We did a family calendar this year as we've done in the past - the unit price was excellent on our bulk order, although the print quality was a little uneven.

They ALWAYS have some sort of sale or discount going so if you find something you like, start configuring the order on their website but wait a couple of days before actually hitting the SUBMIT button. I've often wondered if they have a sales rep or some sort of 'bot that monitors your order and then sends you additional discount incentives if you don't submit your order right away.

In summary you should never have to pay full price for cards or anything else. All of these sites are highly competitive. My cards were 40% off at the time, the calendars were discounted 60%, and our 2015 holiday card was purchased at 50% off.

+1 VistaPrint...I only use them because that's what we use at work so I get a discount. They have a pretty good selection and a couple different weights to choose from.

I would love to do some fancier ones but can't decide on material.

I used Vistaprint Canada, and I was so disatisfied with my cards (there was a colour gradient on the cards that turned out horrifying) that they gave me a full refund. So, the cards went in the recycling bin, but they were very good about the refund.

Vista Print's website was ridiculously easy. Got it looking exactly how I want....

... then I left it on the countertop and walked out of the shop. Waiting for my rotary phone to ring :p

Read the OP's original post. Wanting suggestions. I'm suggesting Moo. It is a company name just like Vista Print is.

Thanks! I was confused too by the brevity of the response too :-D. Appreciate the clarification.

The OP did mention them in their original post in the second sentence.

Ah - Saw it but thought Moo was a nickname for another user ;-)a. Too many vendors out there to keep track of. You are more knowledgeable than I.......

I just ordered a Free Sample Pack From Moo. May check that out if you're still shopping around. Includes some of their different weights and types of cards.
I've used Vista Print in the past, but the cards were not cut evenly.
I'm hoping the free sample kit will let me decide what to get.

Canon t3i, Sigma 10-20.
