Common Mergansers

Doing some serious fishing in a ponding basin by my house. They come thru every year and stay for a day or two.

Flock of Black Skimmers. I took this in the 80’s with my Minolta X-700. Took with Minolta 50mm 1.7.

saw these today.
We'd just had 100mm, 4" of rain and they descended on the wet paddock for a feed
