Batch conversion of JPEG files to TIFF

Can some one help me to do a batch conversion of files in a folder from jpeg to tiff. I understand both Photoshop and Elements support this, but I do not see this option in the drop downs.
Is there any other program that will do this?

I think you can make an action in photoshop.
I use my actions to apply tedious filters. I suppose you could do one for a batch, but ive never tried it.

You will need to create an action for it, and then batch process that action. Batch processing can be found in the file menu...automate...batc​h

You could think of using AcdSee. The latest version allows you to select images and convert them to BMP, TIFF, JPG (diff compression) etc.

I have bought ACDSEE Photo Suite, and the conversion of one format to another seem effortless and easy.
